Waiheke Island Airpark Development
After 5 years of planning and negotiating resource consent, the Airpark development at Waiheke has finally been launched during October 2010.
Consisting of 26, three bedroom "visitor accommodation"villa's, 11 single aircraft hangars and one larger main hangar, the development will add a significant accommodation, tourist and leisure tangent to the airfield. Resource consent has been fully approved for the development.
Designed by Waiheke Architect Ron Stevenson, the development has had particular care put into the integration of the villa's into the surrounding native bush and environment. Dramatic views are available from all the villa's with perspectives out across the Hauraki Gulf and the local topography.
